Who is Wai-Lam?
For the past 10 years, I’ve been a web/graphic designer, working full time in corporate offices, non-profits and advertising/marketing agencies.Ā I’ve designed websitesĀ and promotionalĀ materials for some of the largest brands in the world such as Coca Cola, Microsoft, Nike and Sony Ericsson.
Once IĀ became a mom, things changed. For me, my passion “reset” itself. I find myself going back to my roots as an artist which was discouragedĀ while growing up. I recall moments throughout my life that I would draw letters – who knew that it is such a trend today!Ā I still have my first calligraphy set that my dad got for me from Hong Kong, this was back when I was 10!
Here I am, lettering, doing calligraphy and painting once again. As a pastor’s wife, my work is far beyond just the art itself – it’s letting the art attract people to read God’s Word, His grace and His love for them, the same people who will never read or hear about it in their daily lives.
